Uploads are private for now. Okashare has not been verified by Google yet, so Okashare uploads every video as private, whatever visibility you choose. Google may show an “unverified app” warning when you connect.
What you can schedule
| Formats | Shorts and videos. They upload the same way; YouTube decides which is which. |
|---|---|
| Title | The first line of the caption, up to 100 characters. |
| Description | Everything after the first line, exactly as you wrote it. |
| Audience | Made for kids or not, declared for every video and never preselected. |
| Visibility | Public, unlisted or private. Okashare uploads everything as private until Google has verified the app. |
| File size | Okashare accepts files up to 300 MB. |
| Account | A Google account with a YouTube channel. |
| Results | Views, likes, comments and watch time, where YouTube reports them. |
The YouTube choices built into the form
- Title and description. The first line of your caption becomes the title (required, up to 100 characters). The rest becomes the description.
- Made for kids. YouTube asks for this declaration on every video, so Okashare asks every time and never preselects an answer.
- Who can watch. Public, unlisted or private, chosen for each upload.
From idea to a live video
- Connect your Google account with Google's own sign-in. You can disconnect it at any time.
- Put the idea on the board, attach the video, write the title and description in the caption, and approve it.
- Pick the day, the minute, the audience declaration and the visibility, and put it on the calendar. Until it is being published you can move it, release it now or cancel it.
- At that minute Okashare uploads the video to your channel and confirms when it is done.
- Views, likes, comments and watch time come back over the following hours and days.
